Yellow Line Riders: Service Suspended for the weekend due to construction of a new station at Oakton St. Bus Shuttles will replace Rail Service for the weekend.

Pink Line Riders: Service Disruption between 54th/Cermak & Pulaski due to an unauthorized vehicle on the right-of-way. Trains are operating between Pulaski and the Loop at this time.

Blue Line Riders: Service Disruption between LaSalle and Pulaski due to Fire Dept. Activity. Trains are operating between O'Hare to LaSalle and Forest Park to Pulaski with Shuttle Buses in-between.

Yes the CFD activity, according to news reports given on ABC7 News, is due to a body being found on the tracks at the Illinois Med. Dist. Station. Power was cut between those two points to retrieve it and do initial investigations into how this poor soul died and wound up on the tracks.

The train was just reported cleared from the track and service restored to all trains in that area.

Multi-Rail Line Alert

Brown, Green, Orange, Purple and Pink Lines: Major Delays on all Loop Elevated Trains due to switching problems at Wabash/Van Buren. Trains are moving through the area as crews work to correct the problem.

Upcoming Alert For 5/22/11

Brown Line Riders: Delays Expected as trains will be operating on the inner-Loop track, following the Orange and Pink Line routes. Trains will enter the Loop and make all stops along Lake, Wabash, Van Buren and Wells before continuing to Kimball. This is due to structural maintaince to ensure safe operation on the Loop Elevated line.

Blue Line Riders: Minor Delays as trains will operate on the same track(Forest Park-bound side) between Oak Park and Cicero. This is due to track maintainance to ensure trains continue to operate safely.

Found this on the Summer Schedule Changes for the "L". I wonder if these should've been flip-flopped though...

Brown Line:(As it is currently posted)

Weekday and Saturday mornings:

• From Kimball: The first train to Downtown will leave at 4am instead of 4:30am.

• From Belmont: Due to earlier trips going to the Loop, the first train to Kimball will leave at 4:55am instead of 4:25am.

Orange and Pink Line Riders: Delays Expected as trains will be operating on the outer-Loop track, following the Brown Line route.

Orange Line: First stop in the Loop will be Adams/Wabash and the last stop will be Harold-Washington Library-State/Van Buren

Pink Line: First stop in the Loop will be Washington/Wells and the last stop will be Clark/Lake

This is due to structural maintenance to ensure safe operation on the Loop Elevated Line.
