What to do about the 832 not running on weekends:

ORLAND PARK: [A man from] Country Club Hills was arrested and accused of reckless conduct March 10 at 159th Street and Wolf Road, after an officer spotted him riding on the flatbed trailer of an eastbound semi-tractor, police said. [The man] said he was trying to catch a bus at 159th Street and 94th Avenue - a little more than two miles away, police said.

I don't know any route that goes all the way from Rosemont to 95th, but you can take the Blue Line and switch to the Red Line downtown.

I checked Google Maps, but it says there is no Pace Bus route that does that route. I wish there was one too, but they have not planned on one yet.

Best you can do is 895 to Chicago Ridge Mall from Rosemont and then transfer to the 381

Nor will they, as there's no need for Pace to duplicate CTA rail service.

*In order to catch 330 one has to take the Blue Line to O'Hare, take the shuttle bus from Terminal 2 to the E Lot Kiss-n-Fly and from there wait for the 330.

You can do this. I did this in order to get to the Blue Nose Brwy. in Hodgkins with only two transfers.

I've used the E Lot via shuttle bus/train before to connect from Blue Line to Pace buses.  But not with the 330; I use it to ride the #250 Dempster.

Not discrimination.  Before Pace became a reality, each garage was its own company with different unions, rates of pay, etc.  Though now under the Pace umbrella,  each garage still has its own rate of pay, union representation, etc.  There's even one garage with no union.

(Moved out of CTA 7900s topic)

Which garage has no union? North?

Considering much of North Shore is ex Northwest, should be 1028 I would think.

When NS opened it was non union.  Are you saying that this has changed?

I am surprised Pace would get away with taking work away from a union. If NS were contract operated yes, but NS is Pace operated, isn't it? When 215 and 213 were moved there, I would think 1028 would have made bitch about this.

Maybe those moves were offset by the expansion and movements of 606 to NW.

I notice Pace 290 now displays "CUMBERLAND CTA" instead of "CUMBLD CTA". Is Pace doing away with abbreviations? I noticed they also did this to Route 213 "HIGHLAND PARK" instead of "HIGHLAND PK"
