The bulk of the fleet was the 2200 series low floors, which are either 2010 or perhaps 2011. the ones I rode on did not seem brand new so I'm guessing they are late 2010. After doing enough Googling, which lead me to the Peoria newspaper, apparently those are stimulus buses, first received April 2011. Other stories indicate that before those, the newest bus was 18 years old, and after all but 1 of the CTA's gave out, they bought some Gilligs (presumably Phantoms, hence your other picture) from Duluth.
