ryanbytes
I saw this on a New Flyer the other day. Ideas on what it is?
Chicago49xxx
I'm not sure what that one to the left is used for but the one to the right is a accessory outlet just like the one in your car. Many operators use it to charge their cell phones.
ryanbytes
I wonder if the larger cover is hiding a regular size power outlet.
MT0851
Mississauga's 2008 D60LFRs have that plug that's covered by the grey cap. It's a plug for the diagnostics for the HVAC system. I have no idea what's to the right of it. I can assume this was on a DE60LF?
ryanbytes
I can't remember if it was a 40 or 60. I was coming home from the hospital so my mind was a little out there. The bus nut in me broke out but not enough to notice more than the unusual. :)

ZH1287
I saw this on a New Flyer the other day. Ideas on what it is? This is a diagnostic connector for the engine. All of the ISL 1000 series, Hybrids, and Hybrid Artics have the connector there. The ISM 1000 series buses have it near the driver's seat.
MT0851
This is a diagnostic connector for the engine. All of the ISL 1000 series, Hybrids, and Hybrid Artics have the connector there. The ISM 1000 series buses have it near the driver's seat. Odd, on all of Mississauga's New Flyers the connector is right next to the drivers seat, on that black duct that goes from the side dash (where a lot of the electronics are located) to the ceiling duct. On our D60LFRs though, we have two connectors, one from that black duct in the drivers area and another in the same spot as seen in the picture above. I was told the one under the air duct is for the HVAC diagnostics.
