Guest Posted April 15, 2007 Report Share Posted April 15, 2007 If anyone has sen the 1975 film "Cooley High" It has a scene where the young high school boys tag aboard the rear bumper of of a CTA 300 series. # 388 with some good exterior shots. Then the scene ends when th ebus pulls up to Lincoln Pk Zoo, you see the driver side with the old CTA emblem just under the drivers window. It looks as if the bus was cleaned up prior to using it in the movie. Also you will see a quick shot of CTA #1515, if you slow down the film you will see #70 Division on the front. Funny that the movie was filmed in 1975 but the setting was Chicago 1964. #1515 didnt arrive until 1972. Those of you who havent seent this movie, get it.
