Weather related delays

Since we're all above average riders I thought we could start our own weather related transit delays thread. We could help each other on the travel side and get a better insight on the system side during the unusual event.

During snowstorms try to board buses at the terminals. You are much more likely to get a seat. Also during snowstorms it might be better to take a lower volume route if possible.

Also try to use the rail lines when possible. When their tracks are clear, the trains do seem to get through easier than the buses since they don't have to deal with the same issues, such as traffic or road conditions, as buses do.
