The notice did not list a reason. http://www.transitchicago.com/travel_information/alert_detail.aspx?AlertId=3544 That notice actually implied that the Kedzie parking lot is/was too close to the newer one near the Kimball terminal. As a result of that, the Kedzie lot is closed permanently. Quote
