Today, while driving on I-90 WB, I passed over the CN railroad tracks along Mannheim Rd. I saw a CN RR single unit Budd Rail Diesel Car going south on the tracks. It looked like the old Santa Fe RDC with the front ends painted red. It looked so cool!

Here are a couple of pictures I took today@CN's yard off the Tri-State and Ashland Ave.5750 could this be what you saw the other day?

Yes, thats what I saw last week. Wow that is so cool that an RDC is still in use today. I never knew CN operated one.

Man.. I wish that thing would show up here in Calgary, Alberta...! Love the RDC's. Only ever ridden Budd RDC's on Vancouver Island.

You can tell its an RDC-1

That is CN 1501 - it is a track geometry / rail test car.
