Nabinut Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 Yet another system I visited was Calgary Transit in Calgary, Alberta, Canada which has an large bus fleet but a very unique LRT System. Here are some photos from the LRT side: Calgary Transit (LRT) Car #2037 leads a pack of Siemens Duwag U2s on their way to Crowfoot Station, the end of the Route 201 LRT Line: Car #2076 waits at Sunnyside Station to return to Crowfoot as LRT service didn’t enter Downtown Calgary during the Victoria Day Weekend: Car #2056 at the other end of Route 201: Somerset-Bridlewood Station: Rehabbed and unrehabbed Siemens SD160s make up this train set heading to Somerset: 2006 is seen along 7th Avenue in Downtown Calgary on Route 202 with a Route 201 train in the background: 2303, part of the set of SD160s is photographed at Crowfoot Station: 2030, fully wrapped for RBC Bank crosses 4th Street, which only have a NB station: 2007 waits on a empty 7th Avenue for the light to turn green for the four block run to 10th Street, where the 202 ends: 2082 unloads passengers at 6th Street Station on its way to Somerset Station: Video: Calgary Transit LRT System: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
