For those that don't know, MCTS is the mass transit organization of Milwaukee, WI and its surrounding county. Around 1999 to 2000, service cuts, as well as ridership fell. Being given less and less money is the heart of this all. That's an essay for another post and when I'm not on my phone! Anyway, our current fleet of buses with ISL9 engines (the "low emission") is physically 180 out of the fleet of 412 (okay, higher than that if you count all the unretired 4300s. Okay, let's celebrate the 5300s, increased ridership, and whatever the heck we want to party! If you take pics/post trip reports, put them here!
