Mechanic sought: Old (1987) Japanese auto.

Greetings. Please excuse me for this unorthodox request from you. I ride transit as much as possible, but there are occsions when I need to operate a motor vehicle. [E.G.: The soda sale at the grocery store for 12-packs 12-oz. soda is Buy 2, get 3 free.] I have one. It is a 1987 Chevrolet Sprint 5-speed. I ordered it from Jerry Gleason Chevrolet in Forest Park. It reads 'Chevrolet' but it was built by Suzuki Motor Co., Ltd. in Japan. For much of its recent life, it has been maintained by Accurate Imports at 4329 W. Addison St., by Oscar Montoya. About one year ago, he stepped away from it and has a son or cousin Christian step in. 
My main computer printer here at the abode needed repair recently. The closest place I found where I coud bring it in is on W 122nd St. in Alsip. I put it (boxed) into the Sprint and motored there; south on Cicero Ave. Returning from there, the Sprint's brakes weakened. I had to be more diligent when breaking. I got it back. A day later I brought it in to Accurate Imports.
A couple of days later, Christian Montoya briefly described what needs to be fixed. At the least, it is a new master brake cylinder and brake hoses. I have an account with Rock Auto. I investigated the parts. For a 37-year-old auto, it has a bunch of these parts. But Christian seems to think they are not the correct parts. 
To me, this sounds like an instance of Christian does not want to work on my auto anymore. I have more trust in Rock Auto than Christian.
I conjecture of someone who has a living of operating a motor vehicle knows a good mechanic who would work on my auto. There are many cars out here older than 1987. You'll be seeing them in the upcoming weeks at car shows. Or even today at Double Clutch Brwg. Co. in Evanston.
