BusHunter
Seen a interesting sight yesterday, #6305 , the Cummins #6000, has been totally repainted with new logos, like it has been rehabbed. I was curious so I rode the bus, (I had a good opportunity to) The inside is just the same old stuff, no new seat inserts or anything. I would say it's just been repainted not rehabbed. I wonder if CTA intends to repaint all the Cummins #6000's or what? Also while on the subject of paint jobs, #7703 looks pretty different in it's new logo. I have a suspicion that all of the NABI 60 footers will go through a repaint when the 60 foot hybrid artics come in as part of there rehab. CTA likes to float things out ahead of time. It's been done in the past. #4768 the first AC TMC in the summer of 2000 being rehabbed a good 3 -6 months in front of most others and #6128 being rehabbed July 2003 months before the start of others. Something to keep an eye on.
