Guest ctafan630
The new layout for the CTA website was unveiled today. I like the new look. It is easier to find information and what you do find is easier to read. I love the new links to "System Status" and the quick links. My only beef is that on some of the route information pages, the information is not correct. I happened to pick #12 Roosevelt because it is was on the bus alert page. Here is what it shows http://www.transitchicago.com/riding_cta/b...spx?RouteId=173 Route Information Service Description: See schedule for full details. Service Hours: Roosevelt/Monitor east to Museum Campus 4:15a-12:45a weekdays, 4:05a-12:50a Saturday, 5:55a-12:50a Sunday Washington/Jefferson south to 103rd/Stony Island 5:00a-1:05a weekdays, 5:35a-1:10a Saturday, 6:35a-1:10a Sunday Why the heck would #12 go south to 103rd/Stony Island? Where would this information be pulling from? The terminal information and map posted are still showing the old terminal information but the link to the #12 schedule has the correct terminal information. You would think the route map posted and the terminal information would be correct after two months.
Busjack
Apparently the web designers associated with ChicagoBus.org and their friends had nothing to do with this. Somehow, though, 12 got mixed with 14, as well as the change in the west terminal not being reflected.
Busjack
I also noted that my old bookmark, to yourcta.com generated a message that the Google api was registered to another location. Changing to bookmark to transitchicago.com took care of that message.
jacksone44
I REALLY like it!
Busjack
Another inconsistency. 2 and 15 are not listed in the system status box as having an alert, but the alert is on the pages for the individual routes. Maybe there are "Alerts" and "Special Alerts," but I doubt it.
