If you look real close, there is no license plate on the front. All that is there is a "license pending" tag. This would imply that the bus was real new at the time and probably a Keeler bus at the time. I agree that the 400's spent a lot of time at Limits, but who knows what was happening back in '63. According to the MCA books, the #300 - #449 were delivered between Dec 1962 and Feb 1963. According to what I've gathered (from sources on Yahoo Chicagotransit) as delivered they went out like this #300 - #399 to Limits, #400 - #414 to Kedzie, #415 - #429 to Keeler, #430 - #439 to 52nd, #440 - #449 to beverly. In 1964, the entire #300 - #449 fleet went to Limits. Then according to Bill V. in 1974 #300 - #359 went to Fg.
