How dose metra cont the money form on board fairs and make sure the conductors are no pocketing it? Trainmen complete daily paperwork turning in all receipts. Over the years, statistics are kept, giving management an idea of how much should be turned in on a particular job combination, or train. If the state kept as close a watch on their money as Metra does, there would not be a budget crisis.

So for example, the ticket agents at Fox Lake and Elgin can take remits at their window. Most are done downtown, however.

If there is a void, you keep both receipts and punch cancel (3 punches) the ticket then turn them in with your receipts.
