Metra Announcements

I have noticed that Metra has been using automated announcements at stations, will these replace live human announcements or will those still be used? Finally I have noticed that the "chirp" is not used with these announcements, why is this? Please let me know thank you.

I love how the announcements say "your station", instead of the actual name of the station, at least they do in Naperville and Downers Grove. A train is arriving at "your station". Kind of funny .

I guess it was easier to type "your station", and use it at all stations instead of each station name, and plus that the people who boards at the station already know what station there are at, by the station sings.
