busfan4022 Posted March 26, 2006 Report Share Posted March 26, 2006 I'm having problems with pace's automated announcement system. It seems as though its fustrating ,because how it announces stops. Unlike the cta which tells EVERY stop, pace does not. Such as route 383. its says " Now approaching 76 AND Ford City Shopping MAll/center". And other the before this is like 4or 6 blocks away from this one. In between these stops, there are more which never gets mentening. I noticed a couple of people on these routes are looking confused, and after there stop has been passed up . They wonder where are they and starts asking the bus driver wheres there stop? As they notice its been passed up they get very fustarated. How come pace's automated annoucementes arent as simple as cta's? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jesi2282 Posted March 26, 2006 Report Share Posted March 26, 2006 PACE only announces the checkpoints on the route, if you look on the route schedule there are circles with numbers inside them, those are checkpoints, when the bus approaches one it announces it.
