chicagopcclcar
Video of the CTA Historical Cars is rare. The second hour video of my CERA Presentation CTA Down Through The Years is here featuring South Side "L" Car #1. Also shown is the 100th Anniversary of the Loop "L" including #1 and CTA Historical Cars 4271- 4272. Special moves for #1 and the final trip over the "L" are shown. Also included are parties held by the CTA....yes, the CTA was a "party animal" at one time. Holiday Trains are shown too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMzvhJETams

They asked for public input on the gmc1000s design, held annual Transit Appreciation Days, operated the Culture Bus and put on really good Bus/Rail Rodeos. Guest
Im guessing CTA dosent do these historic events anymore since the historical buses are no longer in running condition.

Does the CTA still have the buses? I know what the CTA has in "L" cars.....just 4271/ 4272. In the 1990s they gave the rest away. I'm glad some enjoyed see what it was like in the good ole days.
