Busjack
Pace has posted a page on the Pulse site on the Harlem Ave.Corridor Development study, in conjunction with the RTA. It says that, among other things, "Other improvements that will prepare the corridor for future implementation of Pace Pulse service." However, one interesting thing is that the study is between 71st St. and North Ave. I guess the stuff about Glenview to Tinley Park is out for now, which bypasses some things I thought were impediments to true ART, such as a narrow street between Lawrence and North Aves. and competition with CTA 90 (except between North Ave. and the Green Line). However, the first steering committee slides indicate there was already a study on South Harlem, and possible north extensions and a south extension to 95th. Technically, the open house isn't in the study area, but there's nothing new about that.
