Busjack
I saw on the news on several TV stations, and references to Carole Brown saying that she was going to hold Kruesi personally responsible for getting the job done. According to the Tribune report:... CTA Chairwoman Carole Brown ... warn[ed] ... that transit agency President Frank Kruesi would be held personally responsible. " I am going to make it [Kruesi's] responsibility to make sure it gets done appropriately. I will hold him to it and I will blame him if it does not,' Brown told the board ...However, I think Andy Shaw on Channel 7 summed it up by saying "Kruesi is bulletproof. He's so close to the Mayor." (That was on TV, but not in the web posting.) That, in effect states the problem. Does da Mare or Brown really believe that there will be suburban or any support for more funding with this being piled on the pension and arbitration fiascos, among other problems?
