Lessons learned from Switzerland: Service planning, fare integration, and the like.

So in addition to my "fake job" as a principal transit planner at out in the West Coast, I'm also moonlighting as a board member with Seamless Bay Area, who's function is to be advocates for better transit amongst the nine county Bay Area region (if you think Chicago is bad on transit, try living here over the past 8 years).

That said, there is going to be some really interesting webinars on how to get stakeholders to bringing better transit to our hoods, with included this webinar, which focuses on network management and transit design and policy, from the Swiss (a group of planning decision makers and one board member went out to Switzerland recently to have a look at best practices).
