Many times when they are parked in the garage, there is a certain aisle or bay that they will be pulled into if there is some work that needs to be done. If the work is minor, it may be assigned to a run and either quick fixed or sent out with the intention to repair later...but if it is not minor and requires more attention, they will not be assigned to a run and will eventually be moved, which is probably what you saw (kind of moving something from the to do list to the do list).
