Parcel (?) Racks on 7500's

Hi All;

On 12/23/2006 I was on a northbound #147. I happen to notice what I referred to as a "parcel rack" on the driver's side of the bus. Actually, there was a rack connected to the stanchions in the forward section and one in the lower part of the rear section of the bus.I'll guess the rack was about 5 feet long.I don't remember the number of the bus, maybe someone at North Park can shed some light on this.
