I rode one of these trains. I was skeptical, because I didn't know what it was. All shiny and stuff, I thought it was just a one time thing because somebody did something to the floor to mess it up.

But hey, I guess not?

I was wondering the same thing too when I've got on at Belmont Station, They needed to polish them anyways and the Green Line too, because Red Line are the dirtiest trains, Green Line as the second. I was trying to stay away from the Red Line at night when the homeless people be riding and stunk up the car. And rather ride the Brown Line.

At this moment, just about all Red Line cars have it. Not sure about other lines.

Probably the Blue/ Pink lines are next or does anyone know which lines are next to be polish.

I've rode couple of Blue Line 2200s Budd cars (#2277, #2259), today and yesterday, and they've been polished, I guess that they are starting to polish them along with Late 2600 (Late 2900s- 3100s) series.
