  1. Technically the bus ends at Clark and Arthur, as the turn around is located at Clark and Arthur between Ashland and Clark.
  2. It's said the Metra part for sometime now, at least for over a year when I took it last.
  3. Saw an 8-car Brown Line bound for Kimball this evening rush around 4:30 with 2 2400s with the red stripes (work cars), 4 other 2400s and a set of 2600s. Interesting.
  4. They're already on buses in Chicago, no complaints as far as I know.
  5. Honestly, there is very little demand for 136 service north of Foster. I took it frequently home during rush hour and the bus is very empty when it hits Foster. In the morning its a bit more full, but most of the passenger traffic, I think, happens south of Foster.
  6. Is that starting now this week? I was out that way last week @ Harlem and Irving around 11:30am and no X80s came by. The only ones I saw going west were to the Blue Line. Kind of a pain to wait for a regular 80 when I was going all the way to the Red Line.
  7. Saw #4067 on the 36 last night around 10PM heading north at Broadway/Thorndale. I've never seen an artic on the 36 normally.
  8. The 96 already provides service to Lincolnwood on Weekdays. Lunt isn't terribly far from Touhy so the serice seems redundant.
  9. Adding to the breakdowns... 7597 broke down at Foster/Sheridan around 4:30 today.
  10. I was on 7619 (i think) Tuesday morning and around 8:30 or so on LSD the bus stalled for a good 3-4 minutes. It started up again and later stalled a bit further down LSD. Finally it picks up again and we get off and the bus stalls at Mich/Delaware again, i don't know how long but by the time I got off and walked down to Superior it still had not gone down Michigan...
  11. I did see a 5800 yesterday operating the 36 sometime in the late afternoon, but it's the first I've seen of one in a while.
  12. Many are operating on the 147 right now...
  13. Why would you end the new route at Chicago Red Line, where would it lay over?
  14. The strange thing was that despite seeing these sightings during the weekday, I also saw them on Saturday. I didn't think the 147 made rush trips on Saturday. The other strange thing was that these buses displayed the normal to CONGRESS/MICH on their SB trip. I wonder if their NB destination line got replaced by accident. Edit: Today(Sunday) on my way downtown on the 147 I spotted all the NB buses displaying to MICH/BALBO which leads me to believe that their NB destinations on the system were changed. Both the new 4000s and the NABIs displayed it.
  15. anyone know why almost every NB 147 shows the destination as MICH/BALBO rather than Howard/RedLine? Did someone mess up?
