Guest Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 I just get home from the firehouse, I turn on Fox 32 and they show breaking news, an EB CTA TMC on the 16/18 route collided with a car and a school bus at 16th/Kostner, just four blocks from my firehouse. AirFox had good coverage of the accident but as for the bus number I couldnt make it out, the front bumper of the bus (CTA) was torn off and the front window was completely smashed. Quote

Surprise that it was a bus ready for the scrap heap anyway. Usually a new one is involved (like on Pulaski the other day). WGN only had the SkyCam shot, and no roof number was visible. Quote

If I had stayed on duty another half hour I wouldve gone to that accident. Quote
