Here is one you can't buy yet. ;) It is still in use. It is the eastbound stop for Route #76 Diversey at Laramie Ave.

When was the latest date this alternate rush-hour routing was in effect? Note also the "L" is identified as "West-Northwest". 5sjg3b5lf3ivy4mj9wc_thumb.jpg

I can vouch for the City of Chicago store. Last time I was in there a few weeks ago, I picked up a mid-2006 era rail system map, which now adorns the wall of my apartment. Whoever designed the place thought that the electrical panel would look just great smack in the middle of the entryway... the CTA map fixes that. I suspect it was a misprint or something. Merchandise Mart is identified simply as "Mart", Wellington is showed as a Red/Brown/Purple transfer point, stuff like that. But it does date back from when the Blue and Pink lines were the same thing!

Anyways. They had a number of rail signs that date back to AB stop days. Kinda pricey though, IMO. I've gotten fairly adept with Illustrator, and have been making replicas of various signs to decorate the apartment. At the moment, I have a replica of the Addison station sign hanging on my wall, it's about 5/8th scale or so. It's quite the conversation starter!

I went to the City of Chicago store after Christmas. The location by water tower is no longer there. The only location left is near Michigan and Randolph. When I was there, they did not have much to choose from.
