Guest metralink Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 any updates on the PACE, Metra and CTA grants from RTA for JARC and ICE programs? there are lots of new services funded through these grants including new I-355 express service for Pace and Saturday Metra Southwest line service and a bunch of CTA service improvements. Maybe interesting, or maybe due to the requirement that the recipient provide matching funds, there are no new bus routes proposed that made the cut. The only bus routes proposed by CTA for JARC were to extend the hours on 48 and extend 75 to 79th and Western. I would have thought that CTA would have done the latter on its own to provide relief from 74th to Western.
