I spotted 6612 (I assume from Academy) headed westbound on Higgins on a hook...front end in the air (never a good sign). Also on my trip I saw a Orion VI on the back of a flatbed headed south on Ill 53 (going over Golf Road). Quote

Sort of sounds like it was heading to Inland Detroit Diesel in Carol Stream for some work. Nothing else in that direction that sounds like a Pace garage. Quote
Guest Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Most likey it was heading out to Inland, I was at Academy yesterday, #6612 was in the shop. Thats a nice trip out to Inland to retrieve equipment. Ive had the chance to do it once last winter. You get to see lots of semi-trucks, buses (both tour or transits) and fire equpiment. Quote
