I spotted 6612 (I assume from Academy) headed westbound on Higgins on a hook...front end in the air (never a good sign). Sort of sounds like it was heading to Inland Detroit Diesel in Carol Stream for some work. Nothing else in that direction that sounds like a Pace garage. Guest Posted August 26, 2009 Report Share Posted August 26, 2009 Most likey it was heading out to Inland, I was at Academy yesterday, #6612 was in the shop. Thats a nice trip out to Inland to retrieve equipment. Ive had the chance to do it once last winter. You get to see lots of semi-trucks, buses (both tour or transits) and fire equpiment.
