Withheld Rail Cars

I noticed on the chicago-l.org webpage, that there are 10 cars designated as long term holds... Cars #2503, #2470, #2701-2702, #2721-2722, and #2977-2978. Now while I know #2470 and #2503 are probably awaiting a scrapper, unless the CTA is willing to put money towards perhaps repairing these units(although I remember the car #2470 fire on the Green Line). But what about units 2701-2702, 2721-2722 and 2977-2978??? Are these units undergoing major repairs, or are they awaiting the scrapper as #2503 and #2470 most likely are.
