It used to be rare to see a 40 footer, now they are the normal and artics are rare. In large part because the weather on weekends this winter has been very dicey a lot of times. So those in charge of North Park have been erring on the side of caution and having operators pull out on weekends in 40 foot buses instead of artics, which is easier to do on a weekend because a lot of the weekday routes that use artics have no service. 146, 147 and 151 have also operated with no artics on a lot of weekend days this winter because of this reason. This past weekend saw artics from NP out on the road on Saturday but not on Sunday because snow moved in late Saturday into early Sunday morning.
