(Thought this was am rush only) I also thought that the present schedule was maximum capacity for the power stations. If this is happening, can`t more 5000`s be assigned to blue? This is because the line runs predominately 2600s and some 3200s. Two sets of 5000s has been the maximum running on the Blue Line. CTA has always run extra trains for large events so we know that capacity wasn't in issue. Running a bunch of 5000s that use more power IS an issue currently. No pun intended.
