Busjack Posted November 11, 2023 Report Share Posted November 11, 2023 There was a presentation at the Nov. 2023 Board Meeting (about 2:44:00 of the video) about the ME90 project, making various infrastructure improvements to allow train operation up to 90 mph from the current 60, with a recent test at 79 mph. Railguy Posted January 5 Report Share Posted January 5 To be fair, the IC mainline is yotally grade separated with no 'authorized' vehicle/pedestrian crossings. Now you cant stop stupidity and mental illness issues. Look at the NE Corridor a trespasser hit can shut down the mainline for hours.
