cta5658
On March 22,2005 Me, My Mommy And My Brother Took The Blue Line From 54th/Cermak To O'Hare And We Drove All The Way To The Terminal. So When We Got To The 54th/Cermak Station She Paid A Parking Space and We Were Looking For An Entrance And We Eventually Found It And We Were on The Boarding Platform And We Got On The Train. The Car Was A Budd 2200 Series Built For The CTA, I Took A Photo Of Mommy And Deonte and i was on my knees on the seat and that's when the train engines came on. it lurched and the Automated announcement said "This Is A Blue Line Train To O'Hare,<ding-dong> Doors Closing. Cicero Is Next Doors on the left at cicero." we stopped At every Station on The blue line and when we pulled out of jefferson park that's set the scene for Our train got halted seconds from harlem station. we cruised calmly on the train and i noticed the train slowing down and for some reason we stopped and we heard 3 dreaded announcements that crews were working on the track ahead, signals were on red and experinced a delay, so we moved slightly and we stopped again, the train switched to the other track and we got off and a CTA Official Said That The Train Is Going Back To 54/Cermak. So For Around an half and a hour we stood there and another train on our right had a malfunction but got fixed and the doors opened and we boarded that one and cumberland was our next stop,Then Came Rosemont and when we pulled up to o'hare terminal, we got off and walked around for a while and we got back on a train to 54/cermak and this time we got on a 2600 Series Car. We pulled out and this time there were no problems on our way back and when our train pulled out of racine the train ascended on "Angel's Flight" So We Made It back. Busjack
Not sure of the purpose of this narrative, but according to the posters on Ask Carole, the situation is now worse.
