On my way to work, I saw 1425 followed shortly by 1420 headed northbound on Lake Shore Drive, just north of the Michigan ave entrance ramp. Both buses were signed "CTA Charter" and were full loads. Has the CTA received some sort of waiver on operating charters ???? Are they back in business, or might this been part of the movie filming project going on around town. rmadisonwi Posted June 17, 2007 Report Share Posted June 17, 2007 There was some kind of union-sponsored (as in ATU 241) shuttle for their members to go to the Puerto Rican parade, being picked up from the various garages. I saw one at Forest Glen while volunteering at the bus roadeo, and the bus I saw (plus the two you saw) were from Chicago Garage.
