New Flyer
Now that the transit bill has been passed I hope CTA will look at some slight service improvements, especially on the southwest side. Increase the frequency on the 52a and 53a on Saturday and Sunday from 30 minutes to 20, to long of a gap and start an hour early on Sundays to accomidate people who have jobs out south. And also consider extending the 67/69/71 street buses to Ford City to take the load off of 79th street. Buses could be routed south on Pulaski to 76th which would give students direct access to Daly college, buses would then go west on 76th to the mall which would also serve the solo cup factory. The Ford City extension of the 67 does make some sense for the reasons given in your example. The 79 does need some help and Daley College would get some extra service out of it as well as Solo Cup using the routing you suggest. Danielsmusic
This proposal is completely logical and justified. This makes sense 100%! CTA should do this!
