CTA RTS-06es?

I was looking at the TMC RTS T80206 delivery list at OMOT today and noticed an order for 32 of them by CTA in 1990, numbered 9002-9033. Does anyone know of these buses ever existed, and if so, what became of them?

Also, the T80208 delivery list shows a #9001 built between 4516 and 4517, and an unnumbered "pilot" bus, in addition to 4400-4875. Again, what became of these?

I would tend to believe that Andre's is more accurate, but can't vouch for either source.

I have had correspondence with another website about inaccuracies with regard to their Illinois information. While I am in a business in which revision of manuscript for accuracy was the whole point of the job, the Internet isn't up to that standard, and I, for one, can't correct all of it.

OK, it makes sense; those 9000-series CTA buses on the RTS 06 list are actually SMART's RTS-08s! Then one of the lists has a typo for SMART 9001's serial (827117 vs 827177), which is why OMOT breaks the CTA order at 4516 and Andre's breaks at 4576. I guess a check of the VIN on any bus between 4517 & 4576 would show which was correct...
