nflyer22
I was eating today at the Subways restaurant on Milwaukee/Higgins and saw #5596 heading SB on Milw. Wow, too bad I didn't stay on that bus to head back south, since the driver noticed one other person who rode all the way from Midway to Jefferson Park and got off, and I bet he would wonder why I got on all the way from Midway, traveled to Jefferson Park, only to go back south, that's why. Also, to be honest, #5596 didn't have the loud engine roar that I was hoping it would have (love that roar ), so I wanted to try out a different Flxible. But shockingly, nice to hear that I almost bumped into you! :)

If this happened during peak hours on a weekday, remember the headway on the 66 is 3 minutes, so it doesn't take much for buses to catch each other on a 3 minute headway! Same thing with the 22. It's actually a 2 to 4 minute headway, and people waiting on the 36 ask me why they see 4 or 5 22s before a 36, I try to explain to them that the 36 is still on a 8-10 minute headway, Clark is more frequent. Of course you may see 4 or 5 before a 36. The 22 also has a giant amount of short runs....starting from Devon, Foster and even Belmont (since some of the 3 track trippers are still being ran) Better to have 5 22s in 10 minutes then no 22 for 30 minutes I say! The laws of nature..... :P
