New Flyer Safety Screens

I boarded #1761 on #11 yesterday, and noticed it doesn't have the usual security screen(the one you have to pull off of the magnet and lock it with the bolt). This one is only 1/4 of that size and is permanently set in the protection position(this one only covers the driver's arm and back). Any other buses have this security screen?

I know exactly what you are talking about. On the last option of buses (1630 and above) there are some earlier ones 1630-1799 have them but i dont understand the purpose. Those are factory installed.

As the previous post states, 1630 and above have the 1/4 size shield you saw, while buses numbered 1000-1629 have the full screen you were expecting to see, which were installed by the CTA.
