sw4400 Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I'm thinking the CTA is trying to make their fleet 100% readable by installing LED Displays in the front of their Buses. They're doing the New Flyer(5800's) and Flxibles(6000's). But with only 3-4 years of Service Life left in them, you think they'll put out the $$ to give the TMC's(4400's) these displays? Quote

MetroShadow Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Well I'd say invest it, but keep in mind, any new buses we're getting between now and 2007, when the 8000's/1000's are coming, they'll already have LED's Installing the 4400's is somewhat hopeless, just like you'd install them on the 5300's...they'll be good as gone in a year or two.
