amartin1982 Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 I was on the bus seeing that new CTA poster about cell phone that read about keeping cell phones silent and vibrated as I learned to keep my cell quiet. Now, I had mine silent and vibrated so I do text messaging instead of calling. Has any of you had your cells silent or vibrated? As a bus told riders, "Please be considered while talking on your phone, so it's not to disturb other customers." Thanks, Alfie Quote
MetroShadow Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 If we didn't learn from those "Don't be Jack" ads from earlier in the decade, I don't think this campaign will work much either. And if I have to take a phone call, I'm normally considerate of my surroundings. Text messages are loud enough so that I know when someone is texting me, I can respond to it. 1 Quote
geneking7320 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Metra also has posters regarding cell phone use. I wish I could remember the wording but I know curtesy is mentioned. Quote
