Also with a picture of a #1600 beside it, it almost gives the impression it's a #1600. You may or may not know this being based in NY, #1600's had single file seating on all forward faced seats (except for the back row of course) as an experiment. #9800 - #9974's seating arrangement is exactly like what's shown in the interior picture. I miss the brown color/ Oak style wall looking inside of interior of D901s, It felt like that I was riding the ones at San Francisco (MUNI). I miss riding those babies back on #94 S. California and the old #25- West Cermak/ N.Riverside (with MAN Americanas) which it was the last time I rode those on them routes back in 2000 when the first batch of 150 Novas began to arrive. One thing you forgot to mention Bushunter is that it was single file seating on all forward facing seats on the right hand side of the bus in the old 1600s. jajuan Posted December 5, 2009 Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 One thing that was interesting was that in the New Flyer section, all the 1200s signed for the Milwaukee route were signed as N56 Milwaukee considering this route lost its overnight service in the late '90s long before Chicago had any New Flyer 1000 series buses.
