Archon
If it is a 4000 or 4100 series it will be considered a loss and put out of service.
Archon
The bus in Question was 4604 a 2002 New flyer DLF-40 with a Cummings ISC and A Voith D863 Transmission. Rebuilding is highly unlikely. There is extensive damage in the back. No Now cause as of yet. It is a Hill side shops I will try to get some photos tomorrow if it stored outside along the fence. qwantae
How many other transit agencies in the U.S. or Canada are having this type of problem with their New Flyers? I remembered Seattle KC Metro had these kind of fire issues with one of their newer D60LFs few years ago, And Dayton, Ohio (MVRTA) also had fire issues with one of their D35LFs about 4-5 years ago.
