Nabinut
Another Canadian System I visited was in Edmonton known at ETS...And you thought Chicago was boring... The second oldest bus in the fleet #201, a 1993 New Flyer D40LF heads away from Lakewood Transit Center: 4910, a 2003 New Flyer D60LF loads passengers on its way to Northgate Transit Centre on Route 9, one of the longest routes in the ETS system: On weekends, the artics are grounded as 40 footers serve the 9 line. Here is 4798, a 2008 New Flyer D40LFR passing Central LRT Station heading south: #4619, one of 231 D40LFRs that eventually replaced the last of the GM Fishbowls sits at Clareview LRT Station, the most modern terminal in the ETS system: 4657 & 4836 are seen at Jasper Place TC where most of the lines here serve West Edmonton Mall: ETS has a unique way of advertising…half wraps on the left…full wraps on the right: I don’t know what the person that designed this “bus” was smoking…: 4855 entering Kingsway TC with most of the Downtown Edmonton skyline showing: The rest of this album can be seen here: http://s166.photobucket.com/albums/u91/nabinut/Edmonton%20Transit/ Videos: 1993 New Flyer D40LF #201: DD 6v92/ZF 2005 New Flyer D40LF #4489: Cummins ISL/Allison 2000 New Flyer D40LF #4196: Cummins ISC/Allison 2003 New Flyer D60LF #4910: Cummins ISL/Allison B500R 2005 New Flyer D40LF #4489: Cummins ISL/Allison 2007 New Flyer D40LFR #4619: Cummins ISL 07/Allison: Edmonton Transit System Bus Service:
Busjack
I was going to say, and it probably is the case, that since NF is based in Winnepeg, Edmonton was supporting nearly local. However, given that Orion was started by the Ontario government, I see that it (other than Toronto) now has a blanket contract with New Flyer (at least according to New Flyer) According to a Canadian site, the "what was he smoking" is a Glaval. We have some school buses around here with that kind of front end. Finally, did you see any trolley buses? The Canadian sites seem incomplete on whether they (including some GM bodied ones) are still around.
Nabinut
ETS retired their GM Fishbowl Trolley buses and dismantled the system in 2009. 2 of them have been saved (1 in Dayton & the other in Ireland or Scotland)

See Tea Eh
I'm told one trolley went to Vancouver's TRAMS as well, but I don't have any details on that.
