sw4400
Looking at the site www.busdrawings.com , under the 1991 Flxible Metro area, a lot of the buses there have a "F" either as a sticker in the windshield or at the beginning of their run number. According to the site, all those bus photos were uploaded June 12, 2005. Could it just be old archive photos or have some Metros come home to Forest Glen again? Busjack
Considering that several of the pictures (5573, 5628) have Flyers in the background (which were taken out of service in 2001), you can make your own conclusion. Also, it has been a long time since there was such a snowy day in Jefferson Park. Since 95% of the pictures were taken either at Jefferson Park or the Forest Glen (Elston/Armstrong) yard, you could take a trip to look. However, for the pictures to be current, there would have to be about 150 of them there, and preheaters retrofitted (lack of preheaters is why they were swapped with Kedzie), which is not going to happen to buses scheduled to be taken out of service in the next couple of years.
