renardo870 Posted March 25, 2020 Report Posted March 25, 2020 I noticed all of these camera on the buses, trains, train stations, platforms, the right of way and other properties such as parking, bus turnarounds, bus garages and rail yards. Some of these cameras have High Definition resolution and show really well. My question is do any of the cameras have audio and pick up voices or have surround sound capabilities or are they just visual only?? Quote
Busjack Posted August 30, 2024 Report Posted August 30, 2024 Widely reported, but based on this press release, CTA is using AI "to identify ... brandished guns," with the system reporting to human operators if it detects one. Quote
Busjack Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 Sun-Times: * "The Chicago Transit Authority plans to deploy ticket-writing cameras on some of its buses this summer as part of the city’s bike and bus lane enforcement pilot." I presume @Shannon tahoeppv would approve. *Based on this CTA Press Release. Quote
