1. You could have provided a link. Here it is.
2. Nothing but a press release.
3. At this rate, CTA and Pace will get their 22 buses each by 2135, assuming they don't declare a default by then.

In other fairly irrelevant news, Phoenix EV is branching out intp 25 mph maximum pizza delivery low speed vehicles.

Not for nothing, those Phantoms assigned to the commuter service are either retired or mothballed...

It's apparently going to he double hockey sticks in a hurry. You noted Miami-Dade seeking a waiver of the FTA 12-year requirement. Foothills Transit just gave up on theirs. In Dec. 2025, FTA issued a letter saying "FTA is aware many agencies have struggled with parts availability and warranty support.  ... The purpose of this letter is to provide instructions for any FTA recipient considering retiring their Proterra buses early and requesting a waiver of the remaining useful life and the remaining Federal interest in the vehicles. This process is only applicable to Proterra buses where certain conditions are met." 

From this Yahoo Finance page, it doesn't look like Phoenix Motors, Inc. is solvent (after a 1 for 10 reverse stock split, it is listed on the pink sheets at 0.76, and was delisted from NASDAQ). Looks like BC Transit was correct in its assessment.

Phoenix EV has updated its website...no mention of their Proterra bus.

That doesn't seem to be the case. There is still a link to https://phoenixmotor.ai/ev-bus
