Guest
Today there were a fleet of North Park artics and a TMC operating from Jefferson Park to OHare. They were signed "BLUE LINE" I spotted an artic at the Harlem Blue Line station today also. I dont know why there were shuttles operating because the blue line trains were operating in both directions. Anyone have any more info on this??? jesi2282
The Blue Line is shut down for this weekend, and also next weekend between Jefferson Park and Harlem for the Slow Zone Elimination Project. But it is strange if the trains were running as you said.

Blue Line service was cut off between Harlem and Jefferson Park due to the continuing slow zone work between Harlem and Jefferson Park today and tomorrow. I was pretty sure that Forest Glen was going to operate these shuttles. I could've goten some pics of 4400s at Jefferson Park. If only I had known. How many 4400s did you see? Maybe I'll take photos tomorrow.
jesi2282
Are these shuttles using Higgins or Kennedy Expressway to get to Harlem? seeing that there are no other stations in between.

I saw 4 car trains operating in service today along the stretch between Jeff Pk and Harlemat the same time the shuttle buses were running. rmadisonwi
Where did you see the four-car trains? Four-car trains from O'Hare arrived at Harlem, unloaded, then traveled east (south) to the next crossover before heading back west (north) to O'Hare. It's possible you saw a train *just* east of the Harlem station (but it wouldn't have been in service). There shouldn't have been anything running beyond that point after 23:00 Friday. Forest Glen operates the owl service on the shuttle route, with North Park running the daytime service.

Well I saw a couple of Forest Glen Novas along with a few North Park Nabis operating those shuttles just a couple of hours ago around noon. So I would have to say that Forest Glen's service on this shuttle is not limited to only owl hours.

I know I didnt imagine it but I did spot an in service 4 car Ohare bound train because it did have passengers aboard during the day.

Yes, I did catch an nice Orion I #23** But when I got to jeff Park, I did see bunch of 7500s and few 6000s running Blue Line Shuttle but no TMC, bummer. Hopelly I'll catch them there next time if this situation happens. I havent seen a TMC at Jeff Park in a long time since Forest Glen had them. last time I've rode an Former FG TMC was on #90 in 1998.
