There's an artic out tonight (#4354) at 10pm on the 155 Devon.

The 2023 Holiday Train just left Howard- probably heading down to Midway for storage until it makes this year's debut.

Looks like Pace South has started installing their new fare boxes in its buses. The fare boxes seem about 6 inches lower than the old ones.

I wonder with the upcoming Blue Line trackwork, if any 7000s are delivered, will they just remain at Skokie until October?

It also looks like with this pick that Kedzie garage is no longer running any weekday trips on the 151 Sheridan. They are still helping on the weekends. All trips weekdays are out of North Park. The short turns to Belmont are also very limited on weekdays now.

I was riding the metra Rock Island line on Friday near the Robbins station and just happened to look out the window. I spotted a scrap yard with a few 2400 series cars in it. The train was not close enough to see any car numbers. Even though it was in the scrap yard, it funny how many of those cars are still around in some form- the work motors, the heritage train cars, the cars in West Virginia, the car on top of that apartment complex, the IRM set and maybe a few in scrap yards. There has to be close to 40 still in existence.

I rode on car 7020 earlier today and it was an unusual experience to say the least. There was an entire door window pane missing. Surprisingly enough, it didn't bother anyone- the noise or the cold air. In fact, the train was so crowded, I think people just wanted to get to their destinations. I'm surprised the operator didn't evacuate the car after being made aware of it.

Spotted some of the Blue Line 5000-series cars back on the Red Line the other night. Are they using different equipment now or are these runs done for now?

7023-7024 and 7027-7028 are currently making the trip from Skokie to probably Rosemont. Just left Howard about 10 minutes ago.

I was riding the Rock Island Metra train near Chandler facility and noticed it's full of new 30ft El Dorados. I was able to make out one vehicle number which was 22320. There's probably a good 20 to 30 buses there.

Pride cars this year are 5245-5246 and 5377-5378.

5163-5164 have also made their way onto the Red Line.

Now it's starting to make sense to me. If the #63 is becoming electric, then they can have 2 bus charging stations. Usually, when I'm at Midway, there tends to be at least 2 to 3 buses there for their layover at a time. Now I'm wondering how many charging stations are going to be installed there in total.

I went past there yesterday and saw 112, 108 and 352 on the west side of the north terminal. I also noticed 381, 34 and 119 on the east side of the north terminal. I didn't see what was boarding on the north bridge area.

I wonder if it's an error on the map, but I'm curious as to why the #63 63rd needs two bus bays (B and C).

Yesterday's board meeting mentioned an opening date for the north terminal for Sunday, December 30th, 2018. Has anyone noticed any bulletins announcing this?

Just noticed that all Yellow Line cars have converted their cab doors to locks like these. Is this a test or are all cars converting over?

Spotted #2725-26 on the Brown Line today. Also, spotted a good chunk of former Blue Line cars on the Orange Line now with those Loop/Midway signs- #2901-02, #3091-92, #3053-54, #2729-30, #2717-18, #2699-00, #3107-08, and #3055-56.

No. When I saw it yesterday, it was being moved into the shop. It'll probably remain inside until its debut.

#3023-3024 have moved over to the Orange Line. Also, noticed the final touches and testing being done today on the Holiday train at Skokie Shops.

#3353-3354 are now on the Blue Line.

I spotted 2645-2646 and 2663-2664 on the Brown Line today.

Spotted 2751-2752 and 2793-2794 on the tail end of a Brown Line train this afternoon.

Besides a few LED run number boxes still needing to be installed, is it safe to say the rehab work is complete on the 3200s?

Just passed a train leaving Skokie of rehabbed cars, but the last 2 cars were 3447-3448.
